Thomas Bowens has over thirty years of international mineral exploration experience. After working in Mongolia with Harrods Minerals, Ivanhoe and later Lundin Mining, he then moved to Russia as Vice President of Exploration and Chief of Operations for Fortress Minerals Corporation. He led the Svetloye project exploration that led to a sale of the deposit to Polymetal. He later established IG Copper LLC and successfully organized a management buyout of Fortress for their 51% in the Malmyzh Copper Gold Project where Freeport McMoran was the 49% non-operating partner. Malmyzh, under the IG team, became one of the largest copper-gold deposits in the world with 7.2 million tons of copper equivalent and was sold to Russia Copper Corporation in 2018. For Svetloye and Malmyzh, Thomas E. Bowens was twice the recipient of the Russian Federation’s Discoverer Medals, the only non-Russian to achieve this distinction.

Senior Geologist

Vladislav Mramornov has over 25 years of experience in exploration in Far East Russia. He has post graduate studies in Geology from the Far East Geological Institute of the Far East Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladivostok, Russia. Awarded “Deposit Discoverer” medal and certificate from the Russian Federation’s Ministry for Natural Resources for his participation in the discovery of the Malmyzh copper gold deposit, where he planned and supervised the implementation of the exploration program, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, QA/QC control, geological modeling and proper reporting. Since 2012, he has led the exploration for Kolymageo clients’ exploration projects in the Far East Region of the Russian Federation, overseeing drill programs, core logging and collection of core data, sampling and sample preparation, trenching, mapping, geochemical surveying, helicopter assisted reconnaissance, and compliant resource reporting.

Alexander Khersonski, CPA, CGA., is a senior financial professional with over twenty years of international experience in financial and operational management and financial reporting for both private and public companies operating in the resource sector. Alexander was appointed the Chief Financial Officer for the IG Group of Companies in 2010 and was instrumental in the eventual sale of the Malmyzh asset in 2018. Prior to his employment with IG Copper, Alexander worked for Kinross Gold Corporation for more than 6-years achieving the role of Vice President of Russian operations and was instrumental in the construction and successful operation of both the Kupol and Julietta mines. Prior to his engagement with Kinross, Alexander worked for a number of junior resource sector public companies in Canada. Mr. Khersonski has a MA in Economics and is a registered CPA and CGA in Canada.
Roy Durr, P. Eng

Roy Durr, P. Eng

Director of Mining Services

Roy Durr is a seasoned senior Executive & Program Manager with over 30 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, a Master Certificate in Project Management from York University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada. Mr. Durr has spent the past fifteen (15) years establishing and growing Mining Contracting companies. He is founder, owner and President & CEO of Provo Mining & Construction Inc. based in Spanish Fork, Utah, where Mr. Durr led the highly successful rehabilitation and reopening of the Trixie high-grade gold and silver mine, achieving production and positive cash flow for Tintic Consolidated Metals in a record 17 months. Prior to this, he held the role of President & CEO of Legend Mining Inc., located in Sudbury, Ontario, which became the go-to mining contractor in Northern Ontario under his leadership. From 2009-2015, Mr. Durr was the President of Associated Mining Construction Inc. (AMC,) a Joint venture between Redpath and Thyssen Mining, that was established to execute all underground Potash work in Saskatchewan; under his leadership, AMC grew from 5 employees to 500 employees and revenues in excess of $200M.
Stephanie Ashton

Stephanie Ashton

VP Business Development

Stephanie Ashton has spent the last 25 years in the area of natural resources, specifically exploration and development of mining projects in Latin America, North America and Eastern Europe. She has founded exploration companies and mining services companies, serving on boards as well as in corporate development and financing through the companies’ growth stages. She has secured private equity and debt financings, participated in IPOs, negotiated Joint Ventures, as well as overseen accounting and auditing. Ms. Ashton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business with a minor in French from Cal Poly State University, a Master’s certificate in International Tax and Legal Strategy from HEC Paris, and a Master of Science in Mineral Economics from the University of Chile in Santiago. She was a regular contributor to opinion columns in the magazine, “Minería Chilena” between 2009-2015.
